The Church building dates from 1895. It is cruciform in shape with the Lord’s Table directly under the crossing. Several stained glass windows remind worshippers of various Saints of earlier centuries.
The Church building has been maintained to a high standard and adapted to provide modern amenities appropriate to a living church at the centre of an active and forward looking ministry.
An effective custom-designed audio/visual and audio loop system was installed in 2015 and is used for both contemporary and selected traditional services. The recently refurbished Session Room also has excellent projecting facilities suitable for meetings and seminars. The vestry, with a private cloakroom, has been furnished as a lounge for personal meetings with the minister and has facilities for use as a study/office if required.
The Church sits in extensive grounds which are maintained by volunteers who have taken responsibility for specific areas of the garden.
Our hall was designed just under ten years ago to meet the fellowship needs of the congregation as well as offering a welcoming environment to the wider community within the parish.
The hall complex is used by numerous organisations, both Church and Community. The complex includes a large hall, well equipped Church office, modern fully equipped kitchen, meeting rooms and various stores. The hall is equipped with comprehensive audio/visual facilities and has a secure entry system for use by the Church office. The halls are often let for dance classes on a Saturday evening, children’s parties and elections etc. An area of the grounds is enclosed as a safe play area with direct access from the hall and a large gazebo is available for various events during the summer months, eg picnics and bbq’s.
